Wildlands is excited to announce the newest bank under our management portfolio – the Dove Ridge Conservation Bank in Butte County, California. In early 2015, Wildlands assumed all biological monitoring and land management responsibilities. This year, the bank’s ownership group expanded the management contract to include Wildlands’ sales and marketing services.
The Bank contains 2,400 acres of vernal pools, vernal swales, vernal pool/swale complex, vernal marsh, seasonal wetland, riparian and upland habitats and is approved by USFWS to offer vernal pool preservation credits for permitted impacts to vernal pool fairy shrimp and vernal pool tadpole shrimp habitat. Located approximately six miles northwest of the City of Oroville, the Bank’s service area corresponds with the portion of the Northeastern Sacramento Valley Vernal Pool Region that includes all of Butte County and the eastern half of Tehama County as shown on the service area map.
In addition to managing all aspects of our own mitigation and conservation banks, Wildlands’ in-house expertise is available as part of the biological monitoring, land management, and sales and marketing services offered.
